WebIt's safer to do this with a jumper cable the motor should run if touched with a hot cable. remember be out of harms way as the plow can move and get you. Cleaning all the connections of the big battery cables will likly fix it if the motors good and the soioids are clicking and their wires are connected cleanly. Posted on Jan 11, 2011

If it is broken, you will still hear a click when activating the smartswitch, but it will not raise or drop. It doesn't sound like the switch is bad, but that's easy enough to check with an ohm meter or continuity tester. W.
