His grave is in the next village (where Chris lives), where the factory he founded still existed until comparatively recently. He is buried in the same graveyard as the more famous artist Sickert, who lived just along the road from the factory. They probably knew each other. WebObject details. Harbutt was an artist and teacher and his invention was first used as a non-drying modelling clay by his students.
