Posted August 23, 2024 (edited) Got two new DP cables since I broke my old one yanking it out of the monitor (was one of those push and pull ones that just did not want to come out). After trying both out (since I thought it might be the cable), I get a screen, but I'm locked at 100hz in both windows and the nvidia control panel.

I have all three 1440p monitors plugged in via Display Port. Two, including the one with the flicker, are 60 Hz panels, nothing fancy. The last one is a Gsync 144 hz monitor. WebTurns out, the DP cable I had been using -- the one included with the monitor--only supports 4k resolution at 60hz. At the resolution and refresh rate I was using, my DP cable didn't have the bandwidth to reliably carry the data from the video card to the monitor.
