WebThe Tour du Mont Blanc is a hikers dream. Soaring snow-capped peaks, immense glaciers, quaint hamlets and a great selection of food! 174km, 3 countries and 9000m+ of ascent and descent also make it quite a challenge. However for many hikers on the TMB the biggest challenge of the tour is getting a bed in the many refuges dotted along the route. WebJul 2, 2024 · To back up a bit, when we’d planned our hike, we’d hoped to hike about 10-15 miles (16.1-24.1 km) a day. We knew the terrain was super hilly, so we’d need more time than normal. Plus, we wanted to enjoy the experience. But this is a popular hike, and the lodging that we needed wasn’t always available.
